Course Description:
This course continues the development of algebraic skills and concepts. The topics include: right triangle trigonometry, linear equations, functions, application of systems of linear equations, inequalities, rational expressions and equations, operations on radicals and rational exponents, quadratic equations, exponential and logarithmic functions.

Attendance policy:
Any student with more than four unexcused classes will have five points subtracted from the final average. Missed classes will be not be excused for any  reason.

College Withdrawal Policy

Students may withdraw, in writing at the Registrar's Office, for any reason until the end of the 10th week of classes.  From the 11th week through the end of the 13th week, a student may withdraw with the signature of the instructor or advisor.

Students are notified that cellular phones are allowed in class or in the Learning Resource Center only if they are turned off or turned to a silent mode.  Under no circumstances are phones to be answered in class.  Sending or receiving text messages is not allowed. When there are extenuating circumstances that require that a student be available by cell phone or text message, the student should speak to the instructor prior to class, so that together an agreement can be worked out.
